It really makes a huge difference to actually use the software you are making - aka "eating your own dog food"!
I've just been using PBooks for my own company, found a few bugs, and fixed them right away. Unfortunately that's about all I've been able to get done this month, just so bust with other clients and projects.
The end of the year should be a good time for PBooks though, I'm planning to compile all the accounting reports required for my business.
I hope to get the next version of PBooks out the door before the end of the year - any help testing would be appreciated!
