No, this isn't the "stable release" I wrote about recently, but it is one step closer. I'd call this a release candidate for a stable release.
This release includes way more than the trac tickets suggest, so if you are very interested in what has changed, been fixed, or otherwise improved, review the subversion commit comments.
For a real release, I'll need to review and update all the instructions, as well as create some packages for distributions to hopefully pick up. If you are thinking about using PBooks, please let me know so that I can speak with you about it.
Thanks again for your interest!

Hello Albert.
Really great News for all PBooks users.
Thank you a lot for your very professional and hard work.
I have started in the forum a new Topic about the 0.12 Release.
Keep up the great work.
Greetings PHP-CODER
Thanks PHP-CODER!
I really want to try to make this work. I'm not happy with the direction Windows is taking. I want to dump Windows altogether. Quickbooks and my Garmin software are the last two hold outs. Packages would be a great idea. I'm trying to install PBooks on a clean install of Ubuntu. While I'm not new to IS. I am new to unix. I've spent about 4 hours trying to install PBooks.
Tom
Hi Tom, well I'm happy to help you learn linux, its my favorite operating system. Installing Pbooks won't be easy any time soon, but that's one of the goals. Packaging will help out a lot, so that's part of the plan.
Since you are familiar with accounting and IS, your involvement with PBooks would be very much appreciated. Maybe we can use an instant messaging system so that I can help you get PBooks up and running. Also, do you want to sign up for the mailing lists?
