I just noticed that Bank of America stores images of checks that have been deposited to my small business accounts. This is great! Its a bit of a pain to access them, there seems to be a problem viewing one image after another. If I refresh the page a couple of times, the functionality returns.
So why am I posting this to the PBooks blog? Because its something that I would like to add to PBooks - the ability to store source documents in the database. Its not an easy task though, neither from a technical nor a usability perspective.
I have also interest to store Source Documents in Pbooks.
My Idea is to download or scan the needed Documents in a Folder as first.
While booking the transactions in Pbboks the user shoud have the possibility to click on a input file button to call up the Filebrowser for selecting the needed Document.

After the selection of the Document Pbooks would store only the Path to the Document in the Database.
