Chart of Accounts needs better organization - specifically with regard to account numbers and account types.

I looked over the demo and pretty much most of it looks similar to reports that we print for our clients. The demo was very easy to use and play with. Our system is unique to our company and I have yet to use anything like yours in real life before. Hope this helps.

Tested the Journal Entry form. Interesting concept. Problem is people buy accounting software so they don't have to know what accounts are affected and whether it is a debit or a credit. All the decisions on how to impact GL should be made during installation and configuration. People want to create bills and invoices and let the software manage the GL. I suggest we create simple bills and invoices and a simple payment/deposit system. That will give us what we need for bank reconciliation.

- Separate numbers from accounting groups (assets, liabilities, etc.) I recommend clients use the same numbering system as their CPA. accounts may be 1000,2000,3000, or 100,200,300 so they assign all numbers to accounts.
- Develop ability to create subgroups: example: Assets:Cash:Bank Accounts (these groups do not have numbers)
- Numbers are only assigned to "primary accounts" ....the lowest subgroup created.
