AGPLv3

PBooks is licensed under the Affero General Public License, version 3. This permits the copying and use of PBooks with a few requirements. It requires that those who copy the software must agree to the terms and conditions of the license first of all.

I have no plans to change this license or how PBooks is licensed.

My Opinions on the AGPLv3

While I am most definitely not a lawyer, and I don't play one on TV, I take the above license to mean that licensees can copy the software, modify the software, and redistribute the software, as long as any and all copies and derivative works of the software are licensed under the same terms and conditions. The difference between this and the regular GPL is that the terms must also be complied with for software that is not only distributed, but also made accessible over a publicly accessible network. The phrasing there is important so please refer back to the original license for authoritative clarity.

Another "layman's terms" comment: I don't think you would have to publish or release modifications you make to PBooks if you only use it within your company, which is a very likely scenario.
