Online Training
Self-paced online training courses are available for common categories of licensure to assist in preparing for certification exams. There will be no in-person training clinics until December 2022. For alternative study methods, see our Study Materials page.

Online Testing
Remotely proctored online exams are available for most categories of licensure. Once enrolled in an exam, you will be provided detailed instructions for setting up your computer and a direct link for scheduling an online exam appointment.
In-Person Training and Testing Clinics
In-person training courses are available for common categories of licensure to assist in preparing for certification exams. Private Applicator training will begin December 2022 and Commercial Operator and Applicator training will begin January 2023. For alternative study methods, see our Study Materials page.
Pre-registration and payment are required because space is limited.

All exams can also be taken at scheduled in-person test-only sessions hosted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
